On April 2, 2020 Noah Homayouni was practicing the game of lacrosse in his front yard when he was shot, unknowingly part of a domestic dispute between neighbors. He passed away 40 minutes later in the ambulance. Noah tragically lost his life at the age of 18.
Noah was a student athlete at South Carroll High School in Sykesville, Maryland from 2016 - 2020. He and his family lived in Mount Airy, MD. He left behind his brother Nick, and sister Lexi, and mother and father, Melissa and Nate.
Noah is most remembered by his constant smile, joking mannerisms, and his genuine care and concern for others. Noah had a strong faith in God, he leaned on this faith through his struggles. His faith was at the heart of his character. Many of his teammates and friends gave testimony to the number of times when they were feeling alone, down, or not good enough and Noah would lift them up with his smile and words of encouragement.
The Noah Homayouni Lacrosse Foundation
Noah especially loved his family and friends, but Noah's greatest love and passion was the game of lacrosse. Noah was a student athlete at South Carroll High School in Sykesville, Maryland from 2016 - 2020. Many have been inspired by his dedication to get better everyday at the sport he loved. He wanted others to share in his passion as well. When a friend asked Noah what he would do if he had a lot of money, he quickly responded that he would buy lacrosse equipment for kids in need. Your donation will make his dream come to life.
The foundation's mission is to introduce youth to the game of lacrosse and support current players without finances as a barrier. The Noah Homayouni Lacrosse Foundation is a non-profit, Section 501 (c) (3) organization. Your donation is 100% tax deductible. We appreciate donations through Venmo @NH10_Foundation and through PayPal.
